|

Hi,
I am running Nuendo 5.5.3 (64 bit) /win 7 pro (64bit).
Downloaded the latest demo-version of jamstix 3 and installed it in my vstplugins folder in C:\Programm Files(x 86).
loading jamstix as a vsti works fine, playing around with it ...
but when I close and REOPEN it (the plugin windowis displayed as a white, empty panel.)
Started nuendo already with admin-rights , no success.
a limitation of the demo?
I wonder if there is a chance to demo the beta-version of 64bit ...
Any help appreciated!
I would like to buy jamstix but the described behaviour is a showstopper for me.
Any ideas??
cheers
tom

| Try right clicking your Jamstix 3 folder, Properties>Security>Edit change Users Permissions to Full Control and see if that fixes it. |

Hey,
thanks for the hint but unfortunately that didn't help ...
btw windows uac is disabled.
maybe that have something to do with steinberg vstbridge ... will give it another try (install demo on c:\jamstix) ... see if that changes anything and will try to bridge via vienna ensemble pro ...
anyway best would be to have a 64 bit demo (as far as I can see there only the 32bit version to demo ... or missed I something?)
will keep ya informed ... testing will take place at weekend
cheers

Installed jamstix again (C:\jamstix) -> granted Full-access for every person/group -> did't help
I've noticed that calling the plugin for the first time (loading it) everything is OK. But as already mentionned ... cose plugin window and try to reopen ends up in blank, white plugin window. now if I close the project and opening it again ... jamstix is loaded correctly. so I assume it has something to do with the vstbridge ... demo version doens't "say" if it is 32 oder 64 bit (but I think it's 32 bit)
anyone running jamstix 64bit with nuendo or cubase 64 bit and win7 pro 64 bit successfully?
cheers
