Ok..I'm in a really bad place at the moment, If Ralphs out there please chime in..I thought I was gonna but JS on the back burner for a while and have another go later but after JS going back to midi files is like going back in time...
So, I'm on page 13 of the manual, I have specified my song structure...set outputs etc and JS plays..no problem but now I want to use a midi file for JS to use as the base rhythm.
the instructions say load "import" style, I allready have 8th rock loaded so I click on this ( in the song builder area ) the available styles list appears so I click on import which takes me back to the song builder page where "import" has replaced 8th rock...the instructions say load your midi pattern..I,m in the song builder page and can not see how I'm supposed load my midi pattern so I click on song at the top and 8th rock is still there so I click on this..the available styles appears so I click this and it says use this if you want to import a midi file..so I click ok.
now I'm back at the song page where import is the style and in the groove window it says midi clip and under that it says click to load..so I click this. a list of my groovemonkey midi clips appear and I choose one..
