Hi, I used Jamstix to trigger EZ drummer ( big mistake ) now if I remove easy drummer I have no sound from the JS drums, I re set the output routing in the kit window but...nothing, if I reinstate EZ drummer it will play...but only EZ drummer, does anyone know why this is happening, I'm sure it's something simple but this is not an intuitive piece of software ( not for me anyway ) one day I hope to use this software without it driving me up the wall....I'm sticking with it because it's the only way I can get drums on my track that sounds like a real drummer..thanks in advance and sorry for being such a plob...Kevin

the user manual seems to be saying that if you change anything you have to close and re open the JS plugin..thus losing what you've spent a while setting up..is this right ? is anybody out there ?

Save the song before you close JS and you don't lose anything.

Don't remove JS, please just load a JS3 kit in the song and see if you get sound.

Hello Ralph, If I use JS to trigger EZ drummer and then close EZ drummer I have no sounds from JS..i did what azimuth said but it makes no difference, I,m finding this software very difficult to use and even with it's incredible potential for my songs I feel that I no longer can spend the time it will take me to figure out how to use it..I'm not a natural with computers and stuff so I blame myself mainly, but this is the most difficult software I've ever come across, I know that is because it allows so much control but unfortunately I'm gonna have to put it to one side and go back to midi files..thanks for the help and best regards to everybody at JS..Kevin

Kevin, sorry about the complexity. If you ever want to give this a shot again, we're here to help!

Thanks..maybe in the future I will be able to get my head round it but at the moment the music comes first....for me personally if there was a more step by step ( and I mean every step ) instruction that i could follow then that would be great..I would have been on the forum with a problem every single day..drivin everybody nuts..cheers, Kevin
