| I want to arrange a version of Guantanamera, which I understand is a Guajira-Son rhythm. I would like to get a strong Cuban percussion section going, but am not sure what is the best style to use for this rhythm. I know I can spend an hour playing around with the options, but I wonder if anybody has a quick answer on what may work best. |

My suggestion would be:
DrumSet: Bossa Nova, James Stix, Standard Latin kit
Jamcussion: Latin Standard, Percy, Latin Timbale kit _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| That's a great quick reply Ralph. Many thanks! I don't think I would have tried the combination you suggested, but I will set this up today and see if I can get something playing straight away. |
