We got a NFR of Steven Slate Drums 4.0 and are working on a set of mappings for Jamstix to be released first week of January. Jamstix & SSD4 sound very good together Smile

EDIT: They are now out in the online library:
http://www.rayzoon.com/jamstix3_lib.html

For proper cymbal choking, add this section to your jamstix3.ini file:

[SsdSampler]
CC4=1
CH_15=13
CH_16=14
CH_19=16
CH_22=15

do you have an NFR of superior drummer? We still don't have all the usable maps for that do we? I guess with all the expansion kits it's difficult...

ok, that was a really disrespectful derailment, and obviously just bitching and jealousy.

sorry Wink

congrats man!

Is`s a great news !!! Very Happy

I look forward.
Whether it will be left separate mapping for SSD 3.5, together with SSD 4?
Or only SSD 4?

Are you using JS 3.3.0 or the new Beta?
We did have a few crashes with SSD4 as well even w/o JS.

We'll keep both.

Yes, you can just adjust the MIDI keys in JS to match SSD4. That's what we are doing for the free mappings out later this week.

They are out now, see edited first post.

For the brushed kit, we could not find a brushing sample in SSD4 so we added the XL Pak sample. They actually mix well together IMHO.

In case people didn't saw it:

FYI, Steve Slate Drums now offers crossgrade pricing for all Jamstix owners:

Available until end of January.

And be aware that SSD4 is beta (no sync to host and no 64bits) at the moment but 150$ for 100 kits is quite a bargain if you ask me.

Added the new settings for SSD4 in the ini file, but cymbal chokes don't work. Any idea what could be wrong?
