Is there a way to playback without the host? I cannot find this anywhere. Is it possible to to skip from one part to another without listening to the whole song each time. For example, if I want to preview how a prechorus goes into a chorus, is it possible to play only those parts? I know you can disengage from the host but the only way I see to play anything is the preview in the bar editor.
Thank you. |

What host are you using? You should be able to move the cursor in the host wherever you want (so you don't have to listen to the whole song.)

I am using reaper. I know that I can move the cursor but there is nothing in the track to show me what I would be moving to. For instance if I wanted to jump ahead to the chorus of a song, I wouldnt know where that was in the track to move to it(unless I memorized the time.)
Am I doing something wrong? |

I set markers in reaper that correspond with the start of the verses, choruses etc then its very quick using the number keys to jump to any position in the song.
Its not ideal and it would be great to do this from inside JS but afaik its not possible at this stage.
