So I'm probably going to just send the MIDI out of Jamstix and not use the embedded plugin feature since I have a ton of drum modules, it seems best to load them as separate VSTi's so I can compare them for the particular song.

With that said, I have all my drum-sound VSTi's mapped to work with my TD20. Does that mean I can just ignore the various Jamstix presets that mention modules by name (BFD, DFH, SSD, etc) and just make sure to set it up to be TD20-friendly overall? Am I missing any features going this route?

Thanks,
Dave

You may want to do this:

- pick the Standard kit from "Rock" in JS
- use 'Show Key Map' in the kit menu to get a quick text file with all current assignments
- adjust the MIDI keys in the kit editor to match your TD-20 setup
- click MIDI OUT ONLY in the JS3 mixer and save the kit

Now you can load that kit in JS for every project and it will send the correct MIDI data to the host.
