Wanting to do some tracks with woodblocks and shakers. Has anyone done this and what was used in your 'kits' ?

This is a Jazz interest triggered by Spectrasonics Trilian videos featuring Alex Acuna and Lyle Mays.

Question Hmmmmmmmm ...... maybe just pick a Jamcussion Kit that is close and substitute more woodblocks and shakeres for drums or louder pieces??
