Just bought Jamstix today after playing around with the demo, and loving it so far. Great program.

Two quick questions:
1) Are there any additional mappings floating around for Battery 2? My search didn't turn up much. The only one I found was the one on the download page (by Steve B). After a little searching for the correct samples it works great and I'm liking it. I tried out some kits in Battery that claim GM mappings, but they all seem a bit off the GM spec. I'm sure I'll remap them sometime soon, but before putting in the effort I figured somebody else around here must have already done some of it.

2) I'll prefix this by saying I'm really new to drum samplers. I'm using Sonar 4 and I'm a bit confused about how and why my MIDI seems to shift by 2 octaves between the Sonar piano track vew and Jamstix and Battery. Hopefully I can explain this so it makes sense.

I load up Jamstix and load Battery 2 within it. The Jamstix mappings are aligned with Battery. Kick on C1, snare on D1, etc. Everything plays and sounds great.

But when I record the drums out of Jamstix to a midi track everything gets shifted up by two octaves. Kick comes across on C3, snare on D1, etc. But then when I play that track back out through Battery it plays correctly. C3 on the piano roll triggers what Battery 2 says is C1. Leaves me a little puzzled and confused when I started trying to remap samples.

It's not just Jamstix that does this either. When I play from my midi keyboard C3 seems to trigger C1 as well. I don't appear to have any transpose values set anywhere in Sonar. Am I losing my mind?

If I am not mistaken I beleive that Sonar's default layout is is 88 Keys - Most VST are laid out in 61 Keys
