Hi, just bought JS, using 3.3 beta 2

A) Previewing a bar: isn't is possible to have the host (in my case cubase) playing and have the preview IN SYNC?

Currently, if I want to edit a bar, I have to either stop the host OR switch to preview in JS. When switching to preview and NOT stopping the host, the bar is looped out of sync. I'd like to have the preview loop synced...

I know, that it doesn't make sense in a musical way, to have one bar of drums repeated while everything else in the song plays along. But for editing alone it would be quite comfortable to just hit preview and have the preview loop in sync with the host...

B) after editing one loop in preview mode, I set up Cubases cycle to repeat this one bar. While cubase plays along in a cycle, it never plays the first note of my bar in JS.

Is this a flaw? No style loaded, no drummer loaded, so it can't be the hit timed before the first bar of the cubase cycle...

A) This is tricky. I recommend editing with just the JS preview while the host is stopped. We are looking into bar editing with host playing for a future release.

B) This has to do with notes crossing audio buffer boundaries when the host loops. Please try at a lower audio latency.
