|
|
So I build a basic structure with the song builder. It seems when I start playing back and then tweaking the settings, it will go back to default style/player settings as soon as it hits a new section.
I realize this will be real handy when it comes time make each section start to grow and expand as the song progresses, but is there a global override where, for instance, I can make all the Pocket settings the same throughout song? |

There are some copy functions in the part menu for that:
- Copy Style To All Parts
- Copy Drummer To All Parts (this would include pocket settings)
- Copy Style&Drummer To All Similar Parts (i.e. if its a verse it will copy to all other verses) _________________ Ralph Zeuner

The fill style settings don't seem to take my new tweaks to it globally.
Build a song. Tweak the fill settings in right window.
Try to save the fill and load it, use quick save/load, use Song's CopyTo command. Nothing seems to stick. Each new bar, for instance, will put End Cymbal back on even though I'd like it checked off.
Also, is the fill style settings saved with the style preset?
And last, how do you re-save a style that you've been working with? I don't see a SAVE command for a currently open style.
Thanks |

And now I get the opposite sometimes, I change one fill's settings and the next one in the timeline also takes on those settings. Do I have to make that a new preset or something?
Sorry just trying to master this program. It's pretty stunning! |

'End Cymbal' settings are not part of the fill settings themselves but a property of the bar/part. Please use the brain menu->Fill Settings to control this for the whole part.
When changing fill settings, all fills composed thereafter in that part will use those settings. They are not fixed to the bar but to the part. It may be best for you to lock fills when you are happy with them (lock icon in the bar editor) so subsequent fill setting changes won't affect them. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
