Jamstix is working beautifully for me right now, but I'm just getting started. I've searched but haven't found if there are any threads concerning tips and tricks for Jamstix in Sonar X1.

I found myself wondering if Jamstix can be mixed down to separate audio tracks, for instance. I didn't find anything in the manual first time through (though I might have missed it -- I was skimming).

It definitely can be done. Not sure how this works in Sonar but some suggestions. Look at the Kit tab in Jamstix. Select each piece and you will see how it is routed by looking at the 'output'. This corresponds with the mixer in Jamstix. In the mixer tab, also make sure that "Downmix" is off. Now you can route each output to a new track in Sonar (using Sonar's normal method of routing) and you should be all set.
I wish I could be more specific for Sonar, but I am a Reaper user and setting this up was super easy. I also saved the entire group as a track template, so now I just choose that template and Jamstix is already loaded with all the tracks, routing and assignments ready to go.

That did help, a lot. I think I should be able to figure it out now. And thanks for reminding me about making a preset because you can do that in Sonar too. Once I have it figured out, I'll let you guys know how it was done, but I have a feeling it's simply exactly how you do it.

Looking forward to seeing how it comes out. Again, be sure that "Downmix" in the Jamstix mixer is OFF (not highlighted) otherwise the entire kit will get mixed to a single stereo output.
