I am brand new to this product and am sampling the demo to see if it will do what I need it to do before purchasing.
My question is, after downloading to my C folder, I see the Data folder and its files. And I can see the misc files under the Jamstix folder. However, what I don't see are any icons. None were added to my desktop during the installation. And the only app in the file is the uninstall file.
Any suggestions as to how to open Jamstix when no icons installed on the desktop? My PC is uses Vista Premium OS.
Thanks! I am looking forward to playing with this demo to see if it will put life to my MIDI projects. |

Jamstix needs a host to run. Do you use Cubase, Reaper, Logic, etc.?

I have Cakewalk Sonor and was able to pull up Jamstix as any VST in the program.
I found a kit that is playable live. But, I have not been able to play it through my MIDI notes. I am presently going through the user manual to see if there is a mapping page that can tell me which notes are working with the demo model's available kits.
Thanks for your help! |
