When hooking up Jamstix to work with a Roland td-20 kit, all I need to do is send the midi out from my firepod interface to the TD-20, midi out from my TD-20 back to the firepod and then click the TD-20 option in Jamstix?

Yes, but you don't need to send the MIDI OUT from the TD-20 anywhere.
When I play my TD-20 with Jamstix, I use 'Map GM' and 'Use TD20 Extensions'. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ok great. So if I'm using Reaper, I just add a new intrument with 8 tracks and the drums will all be on their own tracks as long as 'Downmix' is turned off?

Correct. If the specific JS kit you are loading is not using the 8 outputs, just use the 8-output template from the kit menu. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks again! I haven't been this excited about recording since high school.
