|
|
Hi,
I recently bought the studio package and just installed the first part Jamstix3 + the three rxp2 files (the two js3 stock kits and the js2 stock kit) on Windows 7 64bit using minihost (as adminitrator), then ran the jamstix320_update.exe (as administrator) and it's mostly working however:
- When I try to use the Steven Slate Drums (eg SSD Absolute Rock) minihost opens a file browser that seems to be looking for Kontakt 3.dll
- For some of the other kits the song wizard generates ok but when I go to the kit tab it says there are missing sounds is that right? (eg TD20 Bonzo Power 22 sounds missing, Jazz kit normal ride 5 sounds missing etc etc) is that simply because the kit doesn't match completely with the style?
Regards

Which version of Kontakt do you have installed?
Can you tell me one of the sounds missing? (click on missing sound message) _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi,
As far as I know I don't have any version although I do have guitar rig 4 installed. Is it a prerequisite for the SSDs?
For the missing drums I'll check tonight when I get home and let you know
Cheers

Thanks Ralph, so, just to clarify Jamstix doesn't come with SSD as such, only mappings - is that right?
I also have Sonar 8.5 installed which included some SSDs with Session Drummer - should it be linking up to those or do I just ignore SSD in Jamstix because it doesn't work unless you buy the full version of SSD?
Cheers

Hi Ralph,
I'm generating a song with the wizard as:
Style: Jazz shuffle
Drummer: James Stix
Kit: Jazz kit - Normal Ride (XL)
Then under the kit tab it says '5 sounds missing' and when I click on that an alert comes up saying:
Crash - 18" DP1
Ride - 22" Hammer DP1
Tom - 10" Birch DP1
Tom - 14" Birch DP1
Tom - 16" Birch DP1
Regards
