I installed demo version of Jamstix, (win 7 and Cuibase SX3). I am unable to use it. I don't find in any place in PC shorttcut to open the program. I installed it from User/Download into C:\jamstix3demo but I don't find anything to open the program. I don't find trace in Cubase VST too. Could you help me pls ? Maybe I made errors ? Tks for help.

Jamstix is a VSTi plugin instrument, which means it needs a host to run in, such as Cubase, Sonar, Tracktion, Live, FL Studio, Acid Pro, REAPER etc.

If you do not currently have such a host, you can use a free minimalistic
host like SAVIHost or MiniHost or the demo version of REAPER.

Let me know if I can assist any further.

Many Thanks for prompt reply. In effect, I use Cubase SX3 and have no problems with other VST plugins already installed. I don't understand ...

What do you think now ?....

Make sure the path to the JS3 demo is included in the VST search path of SX3.

HI THERE,
Unfortunately I don't see it in Cubase VST information panel.
I don't know how to instruct Cubase where to find JS3 because I have a unique place (C:\jamstix3demo) in which there is no exe file. Is it correct ? Maybe I am not so good, but you should suggest which files or group of files I I should have on my PC. I already read about this problem on Forum, but did not see any suggestion, but only to have an host as Reaper (for instance). Is it possible ? TKS

Go to Devices->Plugin Information in SX3 and add c:\jamstix3demo as a search path, then click 'Update'.
