Ladies and Germs,

I can't figure out why Jamstix 3 barely makes sound when i use it in jam mode. i insert the audiom8 plug and get healthy levels and jamstix sees the signal and plugs in a pattern but there is usually no sound or just maybe one hit that comes out over the course of 60 bars. Is this a routing issue or am i missing something? It seems it works for other people and it would be great if i could get it to work for me too. Thanks in advance for your help.

P.S. I'm using reaper 4 now but it didn't work for me in reaper 3 either.

Nope the meter bounces all over the place and looks like it's matching the dynamics of the song.

Not that i'm aware of. Yesterday i tried using a different drummer and kit and the same thing happened. The first measure it played a few sounds and then nothing.

Are you loading the JC style/drummer in JC mode? (Press Jamcussion symbol above power knob).

Sorry it took me so long to get back. Yes, I was using the JC drummer in the JC mode. I just tried it again yesterday with different settings and it's still not working. I bought the breakbeat expansion and the XL pack because i love the plugin but i would really love for that great aspect of it to work for me as well. Is there maybe something in the options menu i should have turned on or off? Thanks for your help.

Please go to JS3 Options - Jamming and increase the 'Input Trim'.

The input trim, whether all the way up or anywhere in between pretty much does the same thing. Even is the needle is pegged all the way up there is still no sound or just some sporadic hits.

If you switch it to 'Normal Jam' and raise the song power knob to max, do you get a full arrangement?

Yeah in normal jam it plays however i have it set up e.g. style, tempo and so on. But, in audio jam it's not doing much. The power knob seems to be responding fully but there is the audio output doesn't correspond.
