I'm trying to come up with a good strategy to integrate Jamstix 3 (with Jamcussion) and Superior Drummer 2. Specifically, here's what I *think* I'd like to do:

1) Have JS3 create the MIDI for drums and (when required) other percussion (using Jamcussion)

2) Use the MIDI out of JS3 to drive Superior Drummer 2 (I want to use the 64-bit version of Superior Drummer 2, which JS3 can't sub-host -- plus, I want the extra control that is available without using sub-hosting)

3) So, I want the audio of the drumkit itself to come from Superior Drummer 2 (not from Jamstix), BUT, I want the audio for Jamcussion percussion (and JS drumkit "percussion" like tambourine and cowbell) to come from JS3 (which is, of course, the only option).

I have a couple of ideas about which direction I'd like to go in -- but I'm wondering if anybody has come up with a good workable strategy to accomplish this.

I'm using 64-bit Sonar X1c, but I'm just looking for an overall good strategy (which could/should be host "agnostic").

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
