Ok, a wierd one here...
Using Jamstix with Mixcraft v5. I've got the song set up in JS and it works fine - using Addictive Drums as the sound source. I now want to convert this to an audio file so I can send it to a friend to overdub.
I grab the song name and drag it into a virtual intrument track and the MIDI appears. I then notice that, near then end of the song there are gaps in the MIDI!
If I play the track with JS playing along - no gaps. However if I drag MIDI onto the track - gaps appear!! Not big ones, a couple of beats, but big enough to notice.
What is going on? |

I am getting something like this also. I have tested in both Cubase 6.0.2 32 bit and 64 bit (using Jbridge).
- When I compose the entire song from beginning to end - it seems to work fine.
- When I change a part and recompose that part, and drag the entire file to Cubase, the part after the part I just recomposed is missing notes.
- If I then recompose the new part that is missing notes and drag the entire midi file to Cubase - the previous part is missing notes.

Due to the real-time nature of the AI, we always recommend to play from start to finish before exporting MIDI. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph – I tried your suggestion of playing the song all the way through after I have made changes and prior to exporting midi - it worked fine.
