i downloaded demo of jamstix and there is no shortcut on dsk top to open. what file would i need to open or send to dsktp to use?

Hi

You need software similar to Cubase/Reaper etc.

You can download a demo copy of Reaper from their website.

Jamstix is a VST instrument that can usually only work from within hosting software, such as Reaper.

If you start out on this journey, prepare to be amazed. Quite a large learning curve, but well worth it.
