Hopefully a simple question with an easy answer...
I find that if I am working on a tune, I can set the levels so that the drummer starts playing softly, and I can automate this so that it gets more or less intense when I want it to. Great.
I find however, that this doesn't really affect the fills. I can have a pretty subdued section and I want a drum roll at the end that is in line with the power being used in the groove, but it will end up being done at full power and throws everything off.
Is there a setting that I am missing somewhere? Perhaps I should adjust my workflow a bit? What would you recommend? |

Please check out the 'Power Mode' setting in the 'Character' panel of the fill section in the brain. The '-40 20' setting may be what you are looking for. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| That's what I recently started doing. So, I'll infer that the main control doesn't affect the fills on purpose. It makes sense that they should be individual controls. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something. I'll just have to keep going this way and adjust my workflow a bit. Happy to do it. Thanks Ralph! |
