I know I'm probably missing something obvious, but how do I create a 'base groove' and have jamstix use it throughout an entire song? I'm using jamstix 3.

Thanks for the link Wolff,
What I had hoped to be able to do is compose a bar in jamstix and use it throughout the whole song. is that possible?

Yes, choose import as the style, now create the 1 bar groove and use the "turn groove into style" command from the bar editor menu.

Now, save the style you just created as a style preset, ( from the brain menu ) name it something, now you can load your style preset into either the groove importer on the song page or the song builder on the wizard page.

Sorry if this sounds complicated but in not much good at explaining in words, hence my link to the video Smile

Basicly just do what is shown in the video except instead of importing a midi groove create your own in the bar editor.

HTH's

Cheers
