Sorry for the frustration!

Concerning the crash: can you send me rzdlog.txt from My Documents\Jamstix3?

Concerning audio jam: Jamstix will not learn a groove from an audio source, that is not feasible. What it does is adjust dynamics and play rules based on audio signal level. You insert audioM8 (plugin that comes with Jamstix) onto the track in your host with your audio signal. Now load Jamstix and do this:

- load style/drummer and kit of your choosing (or use song builder or a saved song)
- click 'Audio Jam'
- start host

You will now see the power knob in Jamstix adjust to the signal level of your audio source. You can fine-tune the response in the JS3 Options 'Jamming' tab. Let me know if you need more help on that.

Thanks for the reply Ralph

As for the crash----I'd rather not chase it because I was still fiddling in Sonar 7 (32 bit host) where I loaded all my kits and paks and I was hesitant to try in (8.5--64bit) because of all of the forum posts-----but so far it has been stable in 8.5

As for the audio jam---I kept clicking "Big Blue jamcussion button" instead of normal mode---maybe the name was throwing me?? anyhow I think I have it to a point where I can tinker!!

Thanks again!!
