I use JamStix3 with SonarX1 & when I enter letters like "IVC..." etc into the SongBuilder, Sonar takes them as key commands & therefore the letters don't make it into JamStix at all. I cannot enter anything into the SongBuilder. I even tried writing the letters into Notepad & then copy & paste them into SongBuilder, but SB doesn't allow copying or pasting.
Since Sonar is a very common host, I'm sure people have already encountered this problem & solved it. How do I enter letters into the SongBuilder in Sonar? |

AFAIK, this is a problem in X1. Previous versions of Sonar would let you route keystrokes to the plugin with an option in the window frame Sonar puts around the plugin.
Until Cakewalk fixes this, the only work-around is to edit the structures.ini in the Jamstix directory and then use right-click on the SongBuilder field to load it. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| There is a keyboard icon in top right of the sonar X1 vst UI. If you click on that it will give the key presses to Jamstix. |
