|
|
I've installed Jamstix Demo.
1. After installing Jamstix, I made a copy of the jamstix.dll in the Jamstix folder and placed it in the VST folder (C:\Program Files\MultiTrack Studio\VST) on MultiTrack Studio 6.1
2. Opening MTS I add a new audio track and select Jamstix from the VST list in effects. Seems to work. I then close MTS.
3. Opening MTS again, same procedure as before, Jamtrax is no longer in the list. Checking the MTS VST folder as in step one, the filem is still there. All the other VST add ons are there and DO appear in the list.
4. If I RENAME the jamstix.dll (ie aajamstix.dll) it will appear for one time, then disappear.
I'm reluctant to purchase Jamstix given the problem installing it with the demo. |

Please send me rzdlog.txt from My Documents\Jamstix3.
Do you have a refresh plugin/excluded plugin function in MTS? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Its a good idea to setup a click track for timing before proceeding to the next step
setup a midi track rather then audio track and then right click in the effect slot and choose from VSTi list and you should see Jamtix there and click on it. Setup a kit, a player and activate transport and enjoy learning. You'll be having productive fun with 2 great products.
And it works just fine
Have fun |

|

I set up the midi file. Allowed it to choose any instrument (piano). Once set up I Right clicked on the effects button and the VST list appeared.
Duh - that was what was missing. NOW I can find Jamstix and can keep using Multitrack Studio. Thanks for nursing me through this. |
