I had scoured and asked question's on the Sonar site forum and got things worked out.

If you cannot get Jamstix to work in Sonar,you have to look at bottom of plugin manager and make sure Jamstix and M8dll are not excluded plugins.
If they are ,enable them and scan in and all will be ok.

If jamstix keeps on crashing Sonar when inserting the M8 dll in Fx bin,you have to use the synth symbol in the synth rack to insert Jamstix into the synth rack and then you can put M8 dll in the Fx bin and everything should be fantastic!! .
It is something to to with Sonar getting all the connections to Jamstix right.

Hope this helps anyone with a Sonar 64 bit problem and jamstix 3.
