I have three kits that I believe are incomplete. I am wondering if they require expansion packs or if I am just missing samples or if they just are not assigned to the samples properly.

They are...
Funk (BoP)
Not Too Dry (XLMB)
Hodge Podge (XLMB)

I have purchased Jamstix 3P and the AI pack with the Metal Pack styles and drummers bonus.

So the first one (BoP) which I assume means Bonzo Pack I should not expect to have samples for. The second and third (XLMB) I am not sure what packs they would come from unless it means a combination of XL, Metal Pack, and Bonzo Pack which might make sense because some of the samples are there but most are missing or not assigned.

I must say I am a little curious about the Hodge Podge kit sounds like.

I am more than happy with the kits I have but just wondering if I am missing samples I should have or the sample assignments are messed up for those kit files.

You have it right. XLMB is a combo pack. Not too Dry is one of my favorite kits. Really great sounding.
