I have created a song with the song sheet and saved the song. Now, how do I load the song in my host. I'm using SONAR X1 Essential. I've tried to export but there isn't a MIDI file created when I save the song. I've tried to drag and drop but the parts don't line up correctly and I don't know about dragging the whole song. Is there some way to just play the song and have my host "record" it. I must be missing some kind of set up or something because when I do try that, the song plays but it doesn't record to the MIDI channel or an audio channel. I've read the User manual until I'm blue in the face. I've used other synths and virtual instruments in X1 and had no problems. Step by step directions would really help this newbie. Thanks for any help in advance. Very Happy

Hi Chuck

Jamstix is a VST instrument, so when loaded into Sonar, just open your saved song in Jamstix and it will play along at the speed set in Sonar.

If you do want a midi track, play the song through once in Sonar, then left click and drag the song title from the left pane of Jamstix into the working area of Sonar. You will have to change Jamstix to "Drum Module" mode, and select Jamstix for the new midi track.

I hope this helps, come back if you need any more help

regards
