When I select the Output Routing on the Kit Menu I sometimes forget to uncheck the "Downmix" option in the Mixer, and so remain puzzled for a few minutes.

Could I suggest that setting the Output Routing (modes 4, 7 or 8 ) automatically turns off "Downmix". And "Set Output Routing 1" turns "Downmix" on.


PS I've just noticed that this is problem #3 in chapter 24 of the User manual. Wink

There is a 'never downmix' option in the JS3 Options.

True, but sometimes I want to have Downmix enabled.

On loading, I would load and audition the kits all on the first output (i.e. "Downmixed"). Then, on the Kit page menu I select the Output Routing that I want but forget to go to the Mixer to turn off "Downmix".

If I set "Never Downmix" then the initial audition would not give me all the sounds. Smile
