Hi,Contacted Ralph a couple of times on this but he hasn't answered my last 2 e-mails,(prob busy) anyway the prob is this Jamstix 3 wont register for me. I have the latest build but ever since installing, everytime i open it in a daw (usually presonus studio one pro, but could be sonar or whatever) i have to keep inputting my user name and serial, then it works as it should, i have tried as Ralph said running in administrator mode for the daw(but uac is turned off anyway) but to no avail, any ideas anyone.
I am a bit disgruntled because its a pain in the ass to keep doing this, and therefore i am not using it v much at the moment.
Vista 32 latest build 4 gig ram q6600. thanks Ade. |

I haven't responded further because I'm still trying to figure this out
If the reg does not stick then writing to certain system resources was denied by Windows, which is always due to access rights. Running as admin fixes this. So I'm stumped since that did not help you. By the way, even with UAC off, you can still have admin and user accounts, AFAIK.
We're open to any ideas, guys. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Does the user have any software installed that clears files on shut-down?
What file stores the registration?Check that it's not,"Read Only"? |
