I have:
windows 7 64bit +
Sonar 6 (installed 32bit version, not 64) +
Jamstix 2.5.2

Is this a supported configuration?
Jamstix install and update seemed to run fine, but when I open Sonar I get no option for Jamstix and I see no Jamstix dll in the vstplugins directory. do I have to manually move it there? - I can't remember it has been some time since I've installed JS.

Is there a way to make this configuration work?
I see people talking about bitBridge and Jbridge but I don't know what that is. I also want to get JS3, would that work any better?

Sorry if this has already been answered, but I was unable to find

Thank You for the help

I'd recommend Jamstix 3 but JS2 should work for you. Please locate your JS2 install folder and make sure that folder is in the VST search path of the Sonar plugin manager. After that, you should see JS2 listed in Sonar.
