I've been playing with the,"Proper" damping effect on the drums tails and it's working how I always wanted it.Much better control to tempo now.

OK Ralph didn't tell me where the new option was initially but he did come through<eventually<grin> Very Happy

This may seem a small thing but it's actually very important on some songs to make sure the tails of sounds don't mask other frequencies in mixes by sustaining too long.

If you are looking for the feature its in Kit/Top Left Arrow Head:Position Based Damping.

Yet again great support from Ralph Very Happy

Got a little glitch.Since using it today some of the drum sounds go missing Ralph Sad

If I reload the project they come back. This seems to only occur if I say change a drum sound in the kit?

It happens now and then and seems to be Tom Toms and Snares but not hi hats and cymbals for now.

Also the position based damping is not being saved in Reaper.

It's still not saving the position based damping Ralph in the Kit/Arrow Head options?

Great as ever Ralph Smile

PS

This small option makes a really noticeable difference depending on the tempo of the song so thanks one again Smile
