I have played around with Jamstix for a while now and wanted to do a short take to see how it fared when used in a recording setting and to see how my new Pod XT sounded along with it:

Click to listen

Personally i am amazed with how easy and intuitive Jamstix is to use and whenever i load my old midi drum patterns out come new, fresh and very human (compared to how they sounded a bit mechanic before) drum patterns, first time i have ever been grateful for spending money Smile

Nice guitar work, mate! Can't wait to hear what you'll come up with with JamBace in the mix Smile

Btw, what drum sounds are you using in this track?

PS: Thanks for the kind words about Jamstix

Thank's Ralph!

I am using a free drumkit: http://www.naturalstudio.co.uk/ns_kit7freedownload.html
Along with Battery.

BTW i can't wait to hear how it sounds with Jambace either Wink

While we are on that note, will Jambace use real bass samples and will there be fretless bass too?

Will it be possible to load Jambace in Jamstix so it will play along in real time?

Regards
Jonas

JamBace will come with several bass sample libraries. More details will be announced as we get closer to release.

JamBace and Jamstix can interact with each other. One example: you will be able to tell JamBace to play its core notes on top of Jamstix kick notes

Hey Jonas, this is very nice. Listening for the third time in a row. Love the swell-y guitar part!

Really nice man.. If you can put more, it would be cool. Love hearing other folks stuff.

Hey Ralph, how about making a thread for songs only? that would be cool.

Great guitar work, sounds a bit like what Andy Summers is up to nowadays, and a little bit of Terje Rypdal influence maybe?
