JS 3 - kits missing some MIDI key / note assignment values

I just made the jump from 2.5 so I'm still adkjusting to the slick new interface. A problem I am seeing in cubase 5 is that certain drums in the kit display no MIDI key/note assignment value while others are fine

For example the Kick shows C1, but the snare comes up empty when its clicked. Trying to click the + / - boxes ( they are empty) doesn't help. I am using the Bonzo pak ( edit : happens for others too) . The toms and hat pedal are also empty...

You must select the desired articulation to adjust MIDI keys.
