Ralph
In the POLL section, there is a question: Do you want a songwriters kit?
It proposes that this kit would be more 'intimate' have a deeper snare and a softer kick.

I REALLY like the idea of this.

But it got me thinking, is the DP#2 based around this idea?
Or would the songwriter kit be much different again?

DP2 does fulfill a lot of the 'Songwriters Kit' purpose except for the deep snare.

The kits in the polls aren't necessarily the ones we will release. We use them to collect ideas.

I would really love a deep snare that has TONS of rattle and snare going on... for those quieter songs where you want to hear the wood and the skins and the metal of the snare... and HEAPs of snare rattle!!

I had a listen to the 'Jam-kit'... yeah I can see that sounds a bit like an old drumkit in a 'makeshift' room.... but it didn't 'grab' me too much... maybe not enough x-samples with that one?

I'm really looking forward to the DP#2 close stereo mic kit... I have my visa ready to go.... still on target for that?

Any idea of a release date?

IIRC, it doesn't have any.
