When I purchase new versions of my DAW it now ships and runs on a 160GB usb drive. I had JS3 downloaded and installed on my previous usb drive F: (data files, samples, etc) and the .dll file installed to the internal C: drive under /program files/steinberg/vstplugins. Everything worked great.
When my new DAW version came, I tried re-installing JS3 on the new G: usb drive. I am finding that now some kits work and some don't. On some kits, I can click on the various drum objects and they make a sound, then I'll pull up other kits and some of the drum objects will not sound, even though there are drums assigned to them. All previously worked fine.
Any idea what may have happened?

Do you see a missing sound message in the kit window for those kits? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi Ralph,
Yes, you've pointed me in the right direction with your question, and I see now that I did not re-install the JS2 stock kit and the XL packs. Once I re-installed those everything is working as expected.
Thanks for your prompt and helpful support, and for a great program. I'm hooked!
