|
|
I've tried to make a minor addition to a song I did in the last version of Jamstix 2. I've used Silent style and drummer to put in manual events for a new song part. When I click on the cell and then the ride cymbal I get the kit page for the ride cymbal appearing rather than the cell accepting the insertion of the ride cymbal in the bar editor.
I've never experienced this before. Any advice? |

Click on the word 'Ride' rather than the icon to its left. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Thanks Ralph but now I've got a ride bell sound on many of the events I've inserted despite inserting a ride cymbal which is what I need. Why is this? |

Having tried replacing each event that sounds like a ride bell a number of times I'm finding that on each playthrough it is entirely random as to what makes a ride bell sound and what makes the ride cymbal sound. This is despite the fact they are all ride cymbal events of a 100 velocity.
I guess this might be Jamstix trying to avoid absolute consistency in sound but on this occasion that is exactly what I want! |

Look for 'Ride Bell' in the brain and set it to 'None'. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph
There are so many parameters in Jamsitx I forget how to do things I've infrequently done before! Song finished now |
