Is there any way to use Jamstix with Sonar's Matrix View?

I know Jamstix is a linear sequencer, but I'm just wondering if there would be some trick to make it work with Sonar's non-linear Matrix View?

I have never user Sonar's Matrix View but I'm wondering how one would use it with Jamstix. Seems it might not even be possible. Any ideas?
