I recently brought up a song I had created a few years ago using Jammer MIDI drums, and had set up Jammer 2 as just a drum module (Sonar 5 Producer originally). I know it worked back then, because I made recordings with it.
Brought it up a couple nights ago in Sonar 8.5.3 (Windows XP 32) and it would only play a couple notes here and there, so I deleted Jammer 2 from the rack, and brought in Jammer 3, reassigned all the inputs and outputs as necessary, and still had the exact same problem. So I decided the heck with it, I'd redo the song within Jamstix. As soon as I switched from Drum Module mode to Normal Jam (which I happened to do while the host was playing), all the notes started playing.
I still re-did the song, I had just been a bit lazy about it, but wanted to bring up this strange behavior. Especially since it was exactly the same in both Jamstix 2 and 3, at least insofar as the Drum Module Mode, I didn't try normal jam in Jamstix 2 before migrating it. |
