Hi
I got my Jamstix for about a week and find it a really great help! The Jamstix kits are pretty good. As mentioned in my previous post I have Steven Slate Platinum with a huge arange of drums to compliment my Jamstix kits. It works very well when I work in the 32bit version Sonar. I just load the SSD kits through the load VST function and select the kits. All good and fine.
After playing around with Jamstix I've found that Jamstix has pre-mapped kits for SSD built in. When I select the kit dropdown menu there is a sub section for SSD drums. When I select any of them JS automaticaly loads the kontak player and load the appropriate kit. Really a great and handy integraton feature.
My only question is why are there are only 7 kits listed in that menu? SSD has 40 odd kits. Is there a way to automatically access the mappings for all 40 kits, or do I have to set the rest up manually? |

You can create your own SSD mappings easily. Just load one of the 7 that come with JS, open SSD in JS kit window and change the SSD kit, then save. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
