New Jamstix user and love it. MIDI jam mode is simply fantastic and I will be putting the time into learning to program this.
However, one of the first things I noticed was that in the jamming modes (tried different drummers to the default songs), the drummers never seem to choke the hihat on the beat, rather they always HIT the hihat on the beat with variable degree of openness.
Although choking the hihat on the beat can be part of the basic rhythm (eg the "disco" demo song), can you get this feature into the jamming? |

It depends on the drummer model. Try the 'Open Hats' accent feature of Aaron. The AIPak, which we will release later today, also has some cool open hihat feature in 'Dave', 'Darren' and 'Simon'. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Will do, thanks.
Guess I just wanted reassurance that it could be done - it is such a basic part of many drummer's styles. |
