Is it possible to install JS3 upgrade with out installing JS2 first?

I am a JS2 owner who just got a new PC. I am installing all software now and wondering if it is possible to install the JS3 upgrade without installing JS2 first?

I ask because I prefer clean installs to overwrites whenever possible

It is possible, no problem.
Just run the installer.
