I cannot figure out how to get to it. I checked the manual and it tells me how to use it but not how to find it initially. I have Cakewalk SHS7XL and opened it and still can't find it. It never asked for a serial #. I am very frustrated because I have looked for months and finally chose Jamstix. Now I have to put and underscore in my username! At my age I'll never remember. LOL. Any help appreciated.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with VST instruments, which is what Jamstix3 is

I don't use Cakewalk, but most DAW applications are similar.

Jamstix3 has a "Jamstix3.dll" file, which needs to be in the correct VST folder of Cakewalk.

Have a look in the Cakewalk folder to see if there is a VST Plugins Folder.
Check to see if there is a Jamstix entry in there.
If not, do a search on your computer for the Jamstix dll file to see where it is.

Come back if you need further help, and more information.

regards
