|
|
I'm getting a "UI Update Error" and the upper window (where the virtual kit is displayed) is blank, when I click on the KIT or MIXER tabs. If I click on SONG or OPTIONS the error message disappears til I click on KIT or MIXER again.
I can load one of the preset Song/Style/Kits from the WIZARD and it will play, but I can't load kits from the KIT tab or adjust anything there.

The log shows 3.0.2 RC4. Please update to 3.0.2 release and, if that doesn't fix it, please use the 3.1 Beta. Let me know if the problem persists. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph - That fixed it.
I had previously installed 3.02, but was erroneously thinking 3.02.RC4 was a later version. |

Just an update on this, in case anyone else is having a similar problem.
After I updated everything, all seemed OK at first, but then the problem came back the next day.
I use my own bat files and a USB drive for backups, and my "Documents" folder had been copied to the USB drive.
JamStix (and a few other programs) had apparently placed some vital info on the USB drive.
I switch off the power on this drive when it's not in use to keep my music room quiet - instant problem.
My solution was to rename the USB "Documents" folder - and then remove every reference to the USB drive letter from the registry.
Now JamStix works as advertised - which is to say it is fantastic. |
