I recently went back to my competition entry "Zeta Go" and descovered the drums were silent. The way it's setup, the output is routed by MIDI to port 0, and picked up by ConcreteFX Granite on the same port. Except Jamstix wasn't outputting anything.
All the arrangement entries appeared to 'lighter' - working entries seemed darker. Nothing I did seemed to bring it back - well, it did play for a bar, then stop.
Luckily I have older versions, so I found a version I could coax Jamstix into playing with its own drum set, and exported the MIDI it generated.
When importing into the final Zeta Go project, there appears to be a problem with some notes that seem very long for drums. I deleted these and the beat seems to be there, but something is missing!
So, in summary, there are two problems:
JamStix forgot its arrangement, was 'lighter' (greyed-out)?
Exporting MIDI seems to introduce odd long notes
The host I'm using is FL Studio, the latest version. |

Could you us 'Save Bank' or 'Save Patch' in FL with the offending project loaded to create a FXP/FXB of the arrangement that you can E-mail to us? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

The arrangement shows all bars locked and since it doesn't have play data(since it is an old data save) this leads to silence. We'll have a fix for this tomorrow or you can just manually unlock each bar in the arranger and it should work again. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Imekon, the latest beta X4-19 has a fixed 'Toggle Locks' button in the arranger. Just press it once and the locked bars should clear. I also noticed that the velocity is locked at zero in the arrangement. Just unlock it with the lock icon next to the word velocity and all should be well. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Unlocking it had no effect, so I cleared the arrangement and tried again. This time I got it to work, though I had to remember the changes as it played.

Did you raise the velocity slider after unlocking? I did this here and it played fine for me. I can sent you your original back if you don't have a copy anymore. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Velocity doesn't appear to be locked, and the slider was at maximum.
However... loaded project, hit play, hit 'arrangement lock' twice and it all worked!
