Very Happy

I can't wait until Monday. Can we at least get a few more teaser screenshots and maybe a peek at a pdf manual?

C'mon Ralph, It's like Christmas Eve...........

Will the new hihat functions be available (i.e tip & shank options) for the beta? Also, If you are interested, I have a ton of google wave invitiations left. To make the beta testing really efficient I could send out a few of them to some of the more active registered users and to you (if you're not on it already) to really give realtime feedback of the performance of JS3. Let me know. I think I have 22 now and anyone who gets one gets 20 right from the start!!!!

New hihat functions are dependent on the new kit so they won't be in this beta. As far as wave is concerned, we will stick to email first and then see from there. I'll try to post the current manual draft as soon as possible (Sat?).

Manual? Yes! I'm positively a happy guy.

I feel Rayzoon is like REAPER with great ethic, developer listening to its users, respectful (read no iLock/dongle) and A1 service in the forum.

It feels good to be part of this community. Thanks Ralph!

Ralph, what about with external plugs that have those hits? can we host them in the JS3 beta with shank & tip hits being used? I use SSD and that is one of the main things along with cymbal chokes (which I think is being resolved on their end) that I am interested in.

Can't wait to print off a copy of the manual spend some quality time in my office after my morning cup of coffee....... Laughing [/img]

Ralph
I didn't realise there was going to be a new stock kit in version 3. I must have missed it amongst that long thread.
Is there any chance it will include a new kick? With the XL pack there are 3 kicks but more variety and, ideally, a really punchy sounding kick, would be great.
I know I could sub-host other drum packages, but the only one I have, doesn't sound as good to my ears as Jamstix's sounds. Also, I prefer to do everything with the one package. Any spare money I've got to spend is for Jamstix 3 rather than other drum packages.

Do you have a length of test period in mind? Just wondered if you're thinking of an approximate release date at this stage.
