I am sure this is a windows 7 thing and not JS3, but....

I took everything (i thought) from my JS3 beta folder to my new JS3 folder but there were some songs that i composed in JS3 beta that were not showing up in JS3 load songs tool.

Here is what i discovered - if I point the load songs tool in JS3 to the old beta folder I see the song files with a little yellow pad lock on the icon. If I use windows 7 explorer to find the files so I can move them to the new folder, there is nothing there in the old folder.

How do I move these songs ?

Sounds like a virtualization issue (MS is great Smile

You can probably find the files in C:\Users\<Your name>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins\jamstix3

Change the end of the path if your JS3 install path was different.
