Hi-

I'm trying to get rid of the Shaker using what I understand about how the Brain works. (I know I can just remove it from the Kit, and I've done that, but I'd still like to know how to silence it using the Brain.)

I've tried removing it (LP - Clear entire limb) from the Song, setting the Shaker power full left and I've tried both Disable and Freeze after that, but I still get Shaker notes when I recompose.

How can I just silence the Shaker completely throughout, short of removing it from the Kit? The Manual (p. 36) says "Disable will mute the element. This is great if you want to place your own i.e. kick notes via the bar editor but have the brain take care of the other sounds.", but it's not doing that here. What am I missing, please?

Thanks-

-Susan

That's odd. Several of your solutions should have killed the shaker. Please send me a song file with the offending shaker.

Hi Ralph-

I'm going to chalk this up to User error, since I couldn't reproduce it after I added the Shaker back to the kit.

I'll keep an eye on it, though, since every once in a while I'll hear sounds that I don't expect based on the Groove, Accent, or Fill.

Thanks again-

-Susan
