I finally found a way to rename and save a rythm (this is impossible within Jamstix AFAIK). You need to find the folder containing the rythms on your harddisk. Then, rename the file. Then open the file (use notepad or other simple text editor). It is a binary file, but early in the file you find the rythm name. Change this to the same name as the new file name.
Now restart Jamstix (i.e your sequencer), and the rythm is renamed.
BACKUP your rythm before attempting this!!!
(May I suggest a Rename button is added to Jamstix...) |
