Jamstix 2.5.2
I would like to use Jamstix to drive Kontakt and SampleTank (not together!) - what do I need to put in the .ini file?
I saw these lines:
| Quote: | [BFD Stereo]
CC4=1
CH_15=57
CH_16=57
CH_17=57 |
Presumably they refer to BFD. But what do the last three lines do? And re there any other elements that can be specified? |

The CH_x entries define MIDI choke keys for cymbal choking for modules that support his.
15=Crash 1
16=Crash 2
17=Crash 3
18=Crash 4
19=Splash 1
20=Splash 2
21=Splash 3
22=China 1
23=China 2
24=China 3
25=China 4
Also, if your module uses a hihat pedal pressure controller other than 4 (most common) thatn you can specify it with:

OK, thank you. Did you mean China for 22-25?
So, in that abbreviated BFD example, MIDI Note 57 is the choke note for Crashes 1, 2 and 3.
What do I put inside [ ... ] to specify Kontakt and SampleTank? |

Yes, China, sorry. As far as what you have to put it for ST or Kontakt, please refer to the docs for those products. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Sorry I was not clear.
I was asking what to put in the jamstix.ini file for a Kontakt or ST sub-host section. |
